Wedding season is truly upon us and it is one of my favourite times of year. I love performing as a wedding magician. Especially in Northamptonshire as it’s where I live. People are in such high spirits and I love that I can add to that. There are two main spots during the day which I love to perform close up magic. The first one is during the photo period and the second during the wedding breakfast. A wedding magician can really help people to break the ice. Brilliant if you have lots of guests who don’t know each other.
Wedding Magician Northamptonshire
My latest wedding performance was at the beautiful Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire. I performed table magic for Dave, Joanne and their guests during their wedding breakfast. It was set in beautiful grounds and was very decadent indeed. I was a complete surprise to the bride who had seen me before at a charity event and couldn’t stop telling her future husband how amazing I was, naturally :)
It was great to see the look on Joannes face when I entered the room and Dave told her he had hired me to perform close up magic. I was extremely flattered that Joanne had remembered me. It made me think about the first time I saw close up magic performed live. It leaves you with lots of emotions and is something that does stay with you for a very long time. It’s never quite the same seeing something on the TV. When you’re a part of the close up magic and its live right in front of your eyes it makes it extra special.
There were around 80 guests at the wedding and I performed for around 2 hours between the courses. I love this as each individual table is getting their own personal show. Each performance is also different as it involves interaction with different people. Depending on the type of people who are sitting at the table, conversations and banter vary which makes it even more fun, especially for me :)
