This past few weeks I have been working all over the Midlands at some pretty amazing, wacky and wonderful events. Birmingham, Leicester and Coventry – and quite weirdly, they were all anniversaries.
I started in Birmingham working at a shopping centre, they had an event to celebrate their 10th anniversary and I got to go round the guests whilst they were sipping bubbles and wow them with my close up magic and mind reading. Customers had been invited to sale previews and they got a lot more than they were expecting when I started to perform my magic for small groups of people.
It was great fun and I even managed to snag some bargains!
A few days later I was in a restaurant in Leicester, which was a very unique table magic performance indeed. I had been booked to perform for a lovely couple celebrating their 10th Wedding anniversary. They were the only two people I was performing for. I did 20 minutes table magic and mind reading just for them and it was fabulous. It was something completely different and I was a surprise for Gary, the husband. He has always loved magic, what a wonderful gift. 20 minutes was the perfect amount of time for me to perform my close up magic in a really intimate setting. Gary had never seen a female magician perform live before so this was an extra treat!
I ended my Midlands stint in Coventry where I performed for guests at a corporate event to celebrate the companies 50th anniversary. There was loads going on and I performed close up magic during the drinks reception and then table magic whilst people were eating.
My mind reading went down particularly well here and people that had already seen me were asking me to perform for them again, they couldn’t quite believe my skills ;) One particular man could only say two words after my performance ‘Mind Blown’. Im happy with that!
